Physical Therapist
Saylor Physical Therapy 's newest location in Aiken SC, has immediate openings for a Physical Therapist to help launch our beautiful brand new clinic! We will cover the cost of a multi-state license if needed!
Our state of the art Physical Therapy facility specializes in one-on-one care that is one patient per hour no exceptions! You will also have your own private treatment room equipped with everything you need and you will have a part in picking out exactly what pieces of equipment the clinic should have. You would be joining a dynamic team of PTs, and PTAs across 3 states that have specialties including skilled manual therapy, board certified in Orthopedics, Titleist Performance Institute, LSVT Big, cancer related fatigue/lymphedema, gait and balance, vestibular, geriatrics, pelvic floor and TMJ. This opportunity comes with training as a Staff PT or in a management position as well.
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid SC license to practice Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
